Pelham Falls Piranhas

Pelham Falls is super excited about YOU and your interest in investing in the future of the Pelham Falls swim team! We want to begin by giving you information on all things Guppy and what it means to be a Guppy Helper. Please read the expectations below and if you feel up for the challenge, click on the google form at the bottom of this page and fill out the application and submit by April 12th!  

Guppy Helper Expectations

1. A PFST Guppy Helper is at least 13 years old.
2. A PFST Guppy Helper is a responsible member of the Pelham Falls Piranha Team and upholds all of the duties and responsibilities on the Piranha Team.
3. A PFST Guppy Helper is a volunteer for the first year.
4. A PFST Guppy Helper with at least one year of experience will be given an hourly stipend based upon hours of help provided to the Guppy Team. A certain number of hours is not guaranteed and hours will be based on need and number of helpers.
5. A PFST Guppy Helper needs to be able to teach the fundamental skills for freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and diving.
6. A PFST Guppy Helper should behave in a courteous way, exemplifying good sportsmanship along with giving positive reinforcement to the Guppies.
7. A PFST Guppy Helper is responsible to always keep their eyes on the Guppies throughout practice, and to encourage the Guppy to try new things, and to display respectful behavior at all times.
8. A PFST Guppy Helper takes direction from the Head Guppy Coach and the other PFST Coaches during Guppy practice and Guppy swim meets.
